Where is your office located?

My office is conveniently located in Cambridge, MA, between Harvard and Central Squares and is a short walk from public transportation.

What are the business hours?

They can vary but generally my first appointment of the day is 8:30am and the last is 4pm.

Do you have parking?

Yes. I have a driveway for you to park in or there is plenty of street (non-metered) parking if you are a Cambridge resident.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, I have a 24-hr cancellation policy that I ask you to sign when you complete my intake paperwork.

How many sessions can I expect to have with you?

It varies but working with me means you are making a commitment to your health and this takes time. On average, I work with clients 3-6 months but some clients I have been with for several years.

Will my medical information be kept confidential?

Absolutely. Riverside Nutrition keeps all personal and medical information safe and secure via Healthie, a HIPPA-compliant platform developed specifically for registered dietitians.

Do you work with children?

Yes, I sure do. I work with kids on a number of health issues including picky eating, diets specific for neurologic conditions such as ADHD, autism and epilepsy, and those just looking to eat healthier.

What’s the difference between a registered dietitian and a nutritionist?

All RDs are nutritionists but not all nutritionists are RDs. And unfortunately, anyone can call themselves a “nutritionist” whether they sell supplements or just read a book on nutrition. A registered dietitian (RD) or a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) is a nationally recognized credential. This individual has fulfilled specific requirements, including a bachelor’s degree with coursework approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, a 1200+ hour supervised practice program successfully passed the national RD exam, and maintaining continued education requirements for re-licensure and certification.
